I’m Maureen, I’m a product designer, digital artist, and a small business co-owner. I’m currently based in NYC with a background in UX/UI, research and pharmaceuticals. I came into design by way of starting a creative practice where I run a business with my sister selling my personal illustrations. Through running my business, I've run all of the processes to launch my brand, create identity across web and social mediums, and dive deep into content creation and merchandising expos. This experience has taught me both how to connect deeply with what customers want while building a business, as well as how to balance many different projects at a time as a student and entrepreneur. From launching my first website, to social media management, content creating and designing merchandise for my own brand, I’m able to express my creative outlet in multiple ways.

I graduated with my Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences and worked in my institution’s research facility. As someone who had conducted research during my academic years, I developed skills in conducting research and interviews, along with delivering instructive presentations. During the pandemic, I was able to reflect on where I wanted to be in life and where my career path would take me. My passion for art and research developed and inspired me to work in UX/UI design.

In my free time, I like to draw, listen to BTS, play video games, and watch the next popular anime. I draw a lot of inspiration across these art forms. I am a night owl! When you work with me, you can expect a broad range of inspired ideation and the grit and growth mindset to see multiple projects through.
